These works on canvas have evolved over several years to become ‘Portrait-Landscapes.’

The process involves meeting the person who’s portrait landscape I’ve been commissioned to create. We discuss their journeys through life, their pivotal moments, dreams and memories. Drawing on the Aboriginal construct of Dadirri, (‘deep listening’), this confidential conversation totally informs the composition and iconography of the work.

The skill of 'deep listening' is pivotal to integrity of these works.
