Perhaps the most significant shift in Robyne's more recent practice has been her Ritual Process work.  This work which begins at dawn and ends at dusk, sits outside the gallery space. Her protocol is that after she smokes 'the space' she is to be left alone, affording her the conditions to enter a waking meditative state of making. This state she maintains until dusk. Viewers are welcomed and encouraged to write their thoughts in a book she provides. Throughout these ritual processes she consciously employs the elements of the Akashic Field; earth, fire, water, air and space, working specifically with bio-degradable materials. These ephemeral works are photographed and recorded, thus existing beyond the ritual process itself.  The site is revisited after days and weeks to be re photographed as the weathered remnants dissolve back to the earth.
